“Our whole life is like a musical movement, with themes and counter-themes, resolutions, and recapitulations. Every seven years one phase of life ends and another begins.”
Rudolf Steiner
At various points in our lives, we grapple with fundamental questions that shape our sense of self and purpose: Who am I, and what am I meant to do with my life? These questions can be profound catalysts for personal growth and exploration. Biography work emerges as an invaluable tool in this transformative journey, offering a dynamic process of self-discovery and the development of our individuality.
Initially, our exploration may take us on a reflective journey through our past, examining the experiences and influences that have shaped us. However, biography work transcends a mere retrospective glance—it propels us forward, focusing on the trajectory of our lives and the unfolding chapters that await. It is a journey with a forward-moving quality that captivates and empowers, offering a remarkable avenue for personal development.
The essence of biography work lies in its ability to provide a fresh perspective, a new way of seeing and understanding ourselves. It serves as a guide to illuminate the intricate phenomena of our lives, shedding light on patterns, strengths, and untapped potentials. Through the process of charting, we navigate the map of our existence, discovering hidden treasures and gaining insights that fuel our journey toward self-actualization.
The transformative power of biography work rests in its capacity to bring about change by encouraging a shift in our perception and understanding. As we chart our individual narratives, we not only honor the past but also embrace the future with renewed clarity and purpose. The journey of self-discovery unfolds, and the key to change becomes the unlocking of a deeper understanding of our unique journey.
In essence, biography work becomes a beacon that guides us through the intricate terrain of our lives, providing a framework for personal evolution and empowerment. It invites us to embark on a continuous journey of self-discovery, where the unfolding chapters of our biography become a canvas for growth, resilience, and the manifestation of our true individuality.
Why do Biography work during the Christmas break?
The days between Christmas and New Year offer a unique opportunity for self-reflection and growth. Through the study of seven-year life cycles, we will come into contact with ourselves and our essence. Observing our own biography and sharing it in a small, intimate group offers us the possibility of gaining a new vision and understanding of its scheme, design, and purpose.
As a guide on this journey, I draw inspiration from the works of Otto Scharmer (presence and U-theory) and Rudolf Steiner (Anthroposophy), with some modifications to reflect modern life.a
The aim of the seminar is to help you arrive into the new year with clarity and confidence.
To delve into authentic depth as individuals and as a group, I ask for a commitment of two hours a day for seven consecutive days. It is a significant commitment that will yield important results! Seats are limited to seven people.
