Awakening Divine Balance Within & in Every Encounter

This guided meditation is designed to help you awaken and balance the divine masculine (Shiva) and feminine (Parvati) energies within yourself. By embodying this sacred union, you cultivate harmony within and recognize the divine interplay of these energies in every person you meet.


Step 1: Settling into Stillness

Find a quiet, comfortable place to sit. Close your eyes and take a deep breath in, filling your body with awareness. Exhale slowly, releasing any tension.

Allow your body to relax, your breath to become natural, and your mind to settle. Imagine yourself sitting in a sacred space—a temple within your heart, open to divine presence.


Step 2: Invoking Shiva & Parvati Within

As you inhale, bring your awareness to the right side of your body—the realm of Shiva, the eternal consciousness, stillness, and awareness. Feel a deep, unmoving presence within you, vast as the sky, silent and unshakable.

As you exhale, shift your awareness to the left side of your body—the realm of Parvati, the flowing energy of life, love, and creation. Feel warmth, movement, and the gentle pulse of life radiating from your heart.

With each breath, sense these energies coexisting within you—Shiva, the unmoving witness, and Parvati, the dance of life itself.


Step 3: Uniting the Energies in the Heart

Now, bring both hands to your heart. Imagine Shiva and Parvati meeting within your heart space. The vast stillness of Shiva merges with the loving presence of Parvati, forming a sacred balance—consciousness and energy as one.

With each inhale, feel their sacred union expanding, radiating a golden glow throughout your body. With each exhale, surrender deeper into this divine harmony.

Repeat silently:
“I am both stillness and movement, awareness and love. Within me, all is whole.”


Step 4: Seeing Shiva & Parvati in Every Being

Now, bring to mind someone in your life. It could be a loved one, a friend, or even a stranger. See them before you, radiant and alive.

Recognize that they, too, hold both Shiva and Parvati within them. Beneath their personality, their emotions, their presence—there exists this divine balance of stillness and motion, masculine and feminine, awareness and love.

As you inhale, silently say: “I honor the Shiva within you.”
As you exhale, silently say: “I honor the Parvati within you.”

Sense the sacred energy flowing between you, an eternal dance of giving and receiving.


Step 5: Expanding to the World

Now, allow this awareness to grow. Every person you encounter—every stranger, every friend, every soul—is an expression of this divine play. Some may express more Shiva, others more Parvati, but all hold both energies within.

With this knowing, you walk through the world in reverence, seeing each interaction as a meeting of sacred energies.

Repeat to yourself:
“In each encounter, I meet the divine. In myself, I hold the divine. All is union.”


Step 6: Closing the Meditation

Slowly bring your awareness back to your breath. Feel your body grounded, your heart open, your mind still.

Gently wiggle your fingers and toes. When you are ready, open your eyes, carrying this presence into your day.
