The Yogasole bilingual “Mindfulness for children” summer camp is held at “Le Bastiere,” a centuries-old rustic Tuscan country house surrounded by olive trees and offering a breathtaking view of the charming town of Fiesole.
Children aged 6 to 13 are invited to join this transformative experience filled with exploration, growth, and joy!
At Yogasole summer camp, children will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in English while delighting in the serene natural surroundings. They will also engage in a variety of activities, including music, arts, crafts, and games, fostering mindfulness and creativity.
Our dedicated team of bilingual educators and professionals, who are also parents, lead the Yogasole summer camp with passion and expertise, ensuring a nurturing, wholesome and enriching experience for all.
The summer camp available dates are:

General questions
Which ages is the camp suitable for?
The camp is designed for children ages 6 to 12 years old.
The groups may be divided according to age for certain activites.
Are there any prerequisites for enrolling in the camp?
There are no specific prerequisites for enrolling in the camp. However, we recommend that children be comfortable interacting with others in a group setting and able to follow simple instructions and participate in basic physical activities.
What kind of activities and workshops are offered for children?
Here is a list of potential activities that we can offer at our summer camp:
Movement: Juggling, circus arts, tightrope walking, trampoline, yoga
Arts & Crafts: Clay modeling, sewing, painting, drawing, collage, sketching, Origami
Music: Singing in English, drum circle, body percussion, theater and drama (in English)
Cooking: For those who enjoy it, participants can learn chopping, washing, and preparation techniques. Plus, we have a special pizza-making day!
Nature: Hikes, garden work, tree climbing, simple woodworking, collecting chicken eggs, meditation and simple mindfulness practice.
Sports and Games: Team games, treasure hunts, football, badminton, table tennis, basketball, bocce
Indoor Games: Card games, charades, memory games, Dobble, chess, and more.
Please note that these activities are for reference only. The final program may vary and will be published one week before the camp starts.
How do I enroll my child?
To enroll your child in our camp, simply fill out the admission form available on our website or contact us directly for assistance.

Once the form is completed, submit it along with the required payment of €50 to secure your child’s spot in the camp.
An advance of €50 is required to confirm a spot, the rest of the fee is due three days before the camp starts. We ask that all parents respect this deadline in order for the camp to proceed smoothly.
There is a 10% discount if the full payment is made by May 1st.
Is there a limit to the number of children who can enroll in the camp?
Yes, space is limited, and enrollment is on a first-come, first-served basis. We recommend enrolling early to secure your child’s spot in the camp.
Are there options for early pick-up or extended stay?
Yes, parents can choose to pick up their child at 1:00 pm before lunch (the camp fee is reduced) or extend their stay until 5:00 pm for an additional fee.
What should I do if my child has dietary restrictions or food allergies?
It’s important that you inform us of any dietary restrictions or food allergies that your child may have at the time of enrollment. We will work together with you to find a solution and meet your child’s needs.
Who are the camp organizers and instructors?
The Yogasole summer camp is led by a team of passionate and experienced educators, parents, and professionals:
The core team:
- Aroon Ji: dedicated Waldorf teacher, yoga and meditation instructor, guitar player, animal lover, and father of three.
- Sofia: piano and music teacher, biodynamic gardener, masseuse, crafter, artist, and mother of three.
- Valentina: A wonderful cook, crafter, event organizer, and mother of two.
Visiting and guest instructors:
- Johanna: Art teacher at the Firenze Waldorf School.
- Francesco: Juggling and circus skills.
- Gabriele: Master baker.
- Umi: Artist and pottery teacher
Besides the regular team, we will be joined by a few English mother-tongue young volunteers to help with all activities.
Will my child be learning English at the camp?
Yes, all activities are conducted in English with assistance in Italian for those who need it. Yogasole summer camp provides an immersive English learning experience. Although languages courses are not offered, the full immersion helps with retention and use of the language.
Half of the instructors are native English speakers.
Are lunch and snacks provided?
Yes, lunch is included in the camp fees and will be cooked each day with fresh local ingredients by Valentina. Healthy snacks, water and fruit are also provided.
However, parents have the option to opt out of lunch if they choose and pick up their child at 1pm before lunch is served.
There is also an option for parents to stay for lunch for an extra 10 euros per person. Parents can then stay for the afternoon activity until 3pm or leave and come back for pickup.
What does my child need to bring?
Children should bring sandals and sports shoes, a change of clothes, a waterbottle, a sunhat and sunscreen if needed.
They should wear weather-appropriate clothing that can get dirty.
Please don’t send your child with digital devices, phones, toys, jewelry or any other personal belonging that could be distracting to them or to other children.
Can parents join in for lunch?
yes, parents and family members are welcome to join us for lunch at 10 euros per head, but must inform us in the morning during the child drop off time at 9am.
Parents can then stay for the afternoon activity or go for a walk, leave and come back for pickup.
Financial questions
Is there a refund policy for cancellations?
The initial €50 is unrefundable, but if you have paid the full amount, you can get the rest back if you decided to cancel 7 or more days before the camp starts.
For example: you paid €250, but decided to cancel one week before the camp starts, you will get €200 euros.
How to pay?
The initial €50 can be paid online via bank transfer or paypal.

The rest can be paid either by cash, or bank transfer. The full payment must be made before the camp starts!
Are the discounts offered for the summer camp stackable?
Maximum discount stackable is 20%!
This means that while you can benefit from an early bird discount, multiple week discount, or a sibling discount but the discount offered is capped at 20%
Can I receive a refund for missed days or partial attendance?
Unfortunately, no. Refunds will not be issued for missed days or partial attendance.
But in case, the child misses the camp due to an emergency, we will be glad to offer your child the missing number of days in one of our future summer camps.
Can I pay in instalments?
Yes, you can.

€50 is due at the time of registration, but rest of the amount can be paid in instalments, as long as it is fully paid before the camp starts.

Extra Hours (3 pm – 5 pm):
€10 per hour per child – Available for full-day program enrollees needing extended care.
